School is out, but poverty doesn't take a summer break.
Families in need across Fayette County will be stretched this summer to pay for child care, higher electricity bills, and meals for their children. When the school year starts, they will face the additional burden of school supplies, doctors' visits, and fees.
Back-to-school clothes are a luxury many parents just can't afford.
Please help us get kids off to a good start by contributing to our Klothes 4 Kids drive. We are collecting new clothing and cash donations that we will use to purchase clothing for kids in elementary through high school. These donations will be given directly to the Family Resource and Youth Service Centers at our public schools that work with families in need.
Thank you for providing for the kids who need it most!
