Clothing Those in Need
Our thrift store provides clothing and household items to those in need at low prices. For those who can't afford to pay, we offer vouchers so they can shop for free. Vouchers are available at our Outreach Center at 444 Glen Arvin Avenue. In 2011, our thrift store provided clothing vouchers to 686 people.
The Mission also supplies children in need with new underwear, socks, pants and shoes through Klothes 4 Kids, a back-to-school clothing drive. The clothes we collect through this drive are distributed through the Family Resource Centers at local schools, ensuring that they go to the kids who are most in need.
Donations of clothing, furniture, appliances, household items, tools and electronics are welcome and may be dropped off at our thrift store, located at 720 Bryan Avenue, Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. If you have new clothes to donate to the Klothes 4 Kids drive, please bring them to the Outreach Center.
