Restoring Broken Lives

Our staff is available to meet with anyone who is in need during our walk-in hours on Mondays and Wednesdays from 10 a.m. to noon and Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1 to 3 p.m. Our case managers help job-seekers find employment, assist tenants in obtaining affordable housing, help people navigate government programs (such as K-Tap and Social Security), and make referrals to community resources, including God’s Pantry.

In 2011, we provided counseling services to 874 people.

People struggling with emotional and spiritual needs can also find the counseling, care and support they need. Free counseling services are available by appointment for anyone who needs help. To schedule an appointment, please contact Abigail Carter at (859) 381-9600, ext. 233, or at abigail@lexingtonrescue.org.

The Mission also offers support groups for people struggling with life issues, particularly depression, health problems or spiritual needs. The groups meet every Thursday at the Outreach Center at 6 p.m. Everyone is welcome!
