Restoring Broken Lives

Our staff is available to meet with anyone who is in need during our walk-in hours on Mondays and Wednesdays from 10 a.m. to noon and Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1 to 3 p.m. Our case managers help job-seekers find employment, assist tenants in obtaining affordable housing, help people navigate government programs (such as K-Tap and Social Security), and make referrals to community resources, including God’s Pantry.

In 2012, we provided resource referral, case management and counseling services to 953 people.

People struggling with emotional and spiritual needs can also find the pastoral counseling, care and support they need. Free pastoral counseling services are available by appointment for anyone who needs help. To schedule an appointment, please contact Abigail Carter at (859) 381-9600, ext. 233, or at abigail@lexingtonrescue.org.

The Mission also offers support groups for people struggling with life issues, particularly depression, health problems or spiritual needs. The groups meet every Wednesday at the Outreach Center at 6 p.m. Everyone is welcome!
