Teaching Skills for Life
To help men and women become self-sufficient, the Mission offers a variety of services. The budgeting class teaches money management skills, and computer classes teach basic computer skills.
In 2011, we taught 729 computer class sessions
Budgeting classes run for two weeks each month on Thursdays from 7 to 8:30 p.m. To register, please call (859) 381-9600.
Beginning computer skills classes are hosted by the Urban League. All participants who complete the computer classes receive a free desktop computer. For more information or to register, contact Julius Johnson at (859) 281-1195, ext. 223.
All classes are held at our Outreach Center at 444 Glen Arvin Ave. They are free and open to the public.
If you would like to volunteer to teach or assist with a class, contact volunteer@lexingtonrescue.org or call (859) 381-9600, ext. 224.
