Financial Assistance
Preventing Homelessness
The Mission helps families in crisis through our Homeless Prevention Program, which provides emergency financial assistance for rent and utility bills. Those who come to us for help are often facing eviction or having their utilities shut-off. We work one-on-one with them, providing budget counseling, resource referral and case management.

In 2012, we prevented 99 families from having their utilities shut off, and 94 households from being evicted.
To make an appointment for assistance please call the mission on the first Tuesday of the month, starting at 9am. Calls are taken until appointments are filled, which usually happens before 11am.
