Providing Spiritual Care

The Mission offers chapel services before our weekday meals for anyone seeking God. Services are held Tuesdays and Thursdays at 11:30 a.m. at our Outreach Center, located at 444 Glen Arvin Avenue.

This fall, Sean Gladding is also leading “The Story of God,” an interactive story-time where participants hear the Biblical narrative in a whole new way. This 12-week series is held every Thursday at 12:30 p.m. In addition, we are screening “The Gospel of John,” the 2003 film depiction of Jesus’ life, on Tuesdays at 12:30 p.m.

In addition, spiritual counseling and pastoral care are available to anyone in need. To schedule an appointment, call Steve Jarrell at (859) 381-9600, ext. 231, or e-mail him at steve@lexingtonrescue.org.

In everything we do, we strive to meet the spiritual needs of those who come to us, whether it’s for food, clothing, life-skills or medical care.

For more information on how you can serve, please contact Natalie Cunningham at natalie@lexingtonrescue.org.
